the random, a-bit-of-everything entryhello hello hello!
wanted to blog long long time ago.. since new year. haha but as usual i procrastinated and finally found it meaningless to blog after i passed tt window of time aft the events happen..
Anyway, school's started for 2 weeks already! but thank God that the modules this sem are quite nice=] though there's 1 module which isn't in a good slot in the timetable.. coz i realised i cant really concentrate much after 2 back to back lectures so my attention span for the third consecutive lecture is as good as nothing. oops.. i'll try to pay attention tmr :S tho it's really quite difficult when the lecturer was talking about collecting and analysing ash and how there are different types of ash. but other modules are good:) especially forensic science... wheeee finally got to do that.. happy:) and i have a cute lecturer from the states who put cute animations in her slides and always try to speak singlish with her US accent.. a funny combination. haha to sum up..so far.. school's been good but workload's heavier.. aha and i realised i'm actually doing an assignment on a drug, Danzen, which is what ailing laoshireccomended me when i had sore throat.. haha
oh i wanna go romania for the th Asia-Pacific Pharmaceutical Symposium (APPS)!!! i wanna go!! but it's ex.. boohoo and it clashes with stuff.. urgh... but it sounds fun:)
oh oh and i went for my tetanus jab last wednesday after pharm cell. it's for a lab session for pharmacology.. to deal with the mice we have to be jabbed first..anw the jab felt weird.. it's describes as a dull pain.. feels like someone is pinching u real hard.. and after that it feels like you have a really bad muscle ache ( and we learnt tt the cheemo name for tt is MYALGIA) the funny thing is.. i felt faint after the jab.. ahha tink it's cause i was too nervous before that or sth..haha so silly! when i stood there waiting for my bus.. it feels like the scenery or the road suddenly got brighter and brighter..ha oh and it's the same with blood.. somehow when i see a bag of blood at blood donation drives and tubes of blood for blood test.. i'll just feel faint... weird.. anw since i'm afraid of blood and needles... it's a blessing that pharmacy has little to do with those stuff.. whew.. :) else i'll have a hard time overcoming them and will have to cope with fainting episodes every now and then..haha
oh and talking about cell... we have finally have a name!! :) and it's called pharmers for christ..haha sth lame but supposedly meaningful..ahha cause we're pharmers and we're 'farming'/seeding/harvesting for christ.. haha we're not quite used to the name yet tho.. :S
Oh and today i had lunch with xy, ly, lt and viv at thai noodle house and had our lil girls talk... love the food there... so weird tt i havent been there in my 2 whole years of hc life.. ahha yummy stuff.. oh and today i finally understood the meaning of being drenched.. like when you cant get any wetter than u are already. today there was a downpour in the afternoon... and i didnt bring my umbrella!! :S but anyway.. what amazes me is that the clear sky can suddenly start drizzling , then raining, then become a down pour in a short time frame.. haha i was walking in the drizzle.. tinking it's ok.. jsu a few drops of rain.. then it started raining heavily.. so i started walking faster... then running.. then it got into a downpour and i decided tt since i couldnt get any wetter.. might as well jus have a 'romantic stroll' in the rain..hahahahahahaha it reminded me of water bomb la.. but this time it's from the sky...with varying intensity..haha and eventually i got totally drenched .. tt my clothes became so wet tt they dun look wet anymore..and later on i realised my clothes actually dried in the 2 hrs and by the time i reached home i was totally dry again..
okies i should go to bed now...
(somehow..i usually blog when i';m really really tired..like dead tired. but don't blog when i'm wide awake)
