work work work!

OOh...we have a new member in the lab! :) another student! haha. She's an honours student from NUS and she seems like a really nice person :):) haha. YAY!:)

Anyway, I think i'll have a crazy week! I foresee that i'll be doing lots on cloning, like 6 maxipreps per day and miniprep and stuff, apart from the usual western blots :) Though it'll be busy, but it's good to have an exciting week before i leave. :) Oh today I ended work at 10pm!! WOW! it's a record! it's 13+ hour of work for a day!! haha. I think i'm mad, can't believe i actually stayed in that place for soo long. Oh anyway i spilled one entire tube when doing maxiprep today. :( sigh, have to redo it. But at least no major damage done! haha. that's the good thing about cloning, there's always backups coz u can always grow more bacteria! :) This is probably the only instance where i'll find bacteria lovable. HAHA they're such accomodating organisms. Haha

Hmm, I think i should go have some rest, need to wake up early tomorrow to send my parents off to the airport coz they're going taiwan. This is the 3rd time i;m going to the airport within a week. Hhaha
