oh oh oh... i would like to add that i woke up today acheaing all over. ouch. and the mosquito bites are driving me nuts. haha. and my legs looks v ineteresting with all those new colours and marks now. haha. BUT! it was still such a nice trip :):):) i had lots of fun!!! yay :)

I realised it's been quite awahile since i last blogged. hehe. So long that i forgot when was it already. haha. yay! holiday!:) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)
argh! I always have alot of stuff to say, but once i long on and sit in front of the computer,all the stuff just disappears.. argh. nvm. OH! i remember now :) :) :)
YAY!! we had chalet yesterday! :) Meng invited us to her family chalet at aloha changi! haha it was my first time there and the chalet is HUGE. haha.oh in case you're wondering who's the "we", it's fio, jing, meng and me, and of course meng's parents were there as well. We went to get stuff for the barbeque at sheng siong in the morning and made our way down to tampines by bus(67). Warning: avoid taking bus 67 to tampines from cck if you're rushing for time. haha. coz the journey's about half and hour. hah.But we managed to entertain ourselves with the Mr brown show podcasts saved in jing's phone. and the bus was freezing! but to think on the bright side, at least it kept the food fresh.hah. It felt as though i was in a mobile freezer lar!
Next we took a boat ride to pulau ubin to cycle around! YAY! haha it was such an achievement for me! haha.

it was really fun!!! :) and coz i didnt really know how to control the bike--or specifically, my brake--properly, i ended up crashing into the vegetation by the road 3 times and it also resulted in my erratic cycling which endangered everyone else i met, including my 3 other suffering friends. sorry guys! and thank you so much for waiting around for me! :):) love ya :) haha then we had coconut after the exciting adventure :) it was really really nice and refreshing!!! :) On our way back we took photos , just like wat we did on the way there.
Then, we had our barbeque! haha. and when meng was picking denise up , we entertained ourselves with this tidbits thingy tt's vegetable flavoured and in the form of a ring, so i shall call it veggie rings. haa. so we used the veggie rings as specs rim,earrings and to form words, and of course, not forgetting to take pictures of ourselves doing tt. haha.Oh oh, fio and jing were starting the fire before that, while i moved stuff and prepared stuff , or jus simply stand around since i dunno how to start fire. heh. We had an oversupply of food! and yay!barbequed marshmellows are niceeeeeeeeee:)
oh then we started taking pictures, again. haha. we took pictures with sparkles, bubbles, lamp post.haha. then we tried jumping shot, which werent very successful. haha.
after everything's done, meng's dad gave us a lift home. we felt so bad for letting him drive us all the way home! but THANK YOU UNCLE! :):):) we thought we'd drop off at the mrt station or something , only to realise that we were on the expressway already. oops.
yup, so that concludes the whole of tuesday. haha. for the pictures, refer to fio's or meng's blog( they'd be posting it on their blog soon :)--and i can kop from them! mwhahaha!!)

help!!! i'm obsessed with oatmeal squares. :( haha but they're so nice! :):):)
Anyway, in case you've been wondering what on earth have i been doing these few days, i;ve been slacking, in general. (like...duh!)
Hmm..where should i begin? the weekend was spent shopping for my lab people's present and of course there was our saturday morning at st Johns.It was fun! :) but most of the planning work was done by fio and meng. *guilty* hehe.. and for the rest of the weekend i just bugged meng to shop for the presents with me. yay! really appreciate it! :):):)
On monday, i went back to my lab to give out the presents. FINALLY! For a moment it felt like christmas when i was wrapping all 15 presents then when i wrote the personal message, the feeling of writing 15 messages at one go jus reminds me of the much dreaded GP essays. EEEE. But at least i know what to write about. yay! Then i visited my uncle to pass him my cousin's present then went back to school to collect my A levels certs. :) But i ended up reaching sch 2 hours before the designated time to meet my friends. so i had to find a way to kill 2 hours of extra time. :( Cause it will be silly to just go home and come back again. haha.so i ended up loitering around coro, trying to fish for lunch. But i figured out eating alone is quite weird so i ended up with a milo freeze and decided to eat with my friends later. :) In the end, i found myself sitting at the school canteen, listening to my ipod and trying to practice writing crap with my left hand. tt's really odd. But i realised it's really quitefated that i shouldnt be a leftie:( my handwriting is barely legible, with no aesthetic value to speak of. then after much waiting, sok, wt and lx came! yay! :) aftercollecting the certs, we made our way down to orchard and SHOPPED :) i was lugging 3 heavy 1,5 cm thick, hard-covered yearbooks around orchard in wt's haversack. my poor suffering shoulders!( in case you're wondering why 3 and why am i carrying wt's bag, it's a long story)After that i went yyxz :)
Tuesday. hmm...i cant really remember what i did in the morning, but i remenber going plaza sing with my mum and cutting my hair. Now my hair is v light but my ponytail shrunk to a third it's original size. :(
Wednesday. Hmm. didnt do much, spent most of the time eating and watching tv. HAHA stuff tt i so wanted to do when i was working, but now it seems so.... boring. haha
Today! i accompanied my mum for her checkup, then went town for some shopping again. haha. wanted to meet juan and meng but realised that they arent meeting anymore :( haha. that's about all. and of course i ate alot again. I am obssessed with oatmeal squares!! keep eating them. haha

Boo!I decided to say something cause i realised my blog is getting a little stagnant again. haha. oops. i forsee the blog resting forever soon. hehe. too bad, it has a lazy owner. haha
Anyway, I ENDED MY ATTACHMENT ALREADY! yay! :):):) meaning, i get to play more, sleep more and rest more! haha. but these few days are still quite busy for me. :( and i realised i forgot lots of driving stuff when i went for my lesson today. haha. oops.
I'm sleepy, but i don't wanna sleep! haha. afterall, i have no work tomorrow! haha. i shall go watch tv now. bye!

the last time.
Today was my last day of work. It's kind of funny that after having whinning about work all this while and even to the extent of dreading it, i still find myself a wee bit reluctant to go. The thought of leaving is not at all exciting.
Today i was trying to finish up my work and also clear up some stuff and handing things over to the new student. Then this thought kept coming to me as i did my stuff: it's the last time i'll be filling pipette tips, the last time i'll be developing blots in the dark room, the last time i will be doing miniprep, the last time i will be doing maxiprep. Then i suddenly got very emotional when my colleague was telling me about how fast time flies and my four month attachment is ending today. I was tearing already so i didnt look at her as she talked , but just kept looking down, doing my experiments. Though i complain about some techniques being highly repeatitive and mundane, having the thought of me doing it for the last time, it all suddenly became all so interesting.Think i'll be missing running in and out of the dark room, and the revolving dark room door which is ever so facinating; picking colonies and "barbecuing" the glass pipettes for plating the bacteria, going to the lab supplies and washing facilities with my friends which always seem like shopping for stuff; being referred to as xiao peng you by the lab supplies aunties.I just don't want to end it all so soon.
But of course the greater part of missing work would be the people. The lab people are just really nice! they are ever so willing to teach and help, not mentioning tolerating my absent-mindedness and plain blurness. And the students too! everyone there just helps each other out and it;s just a really nice environment. :):):) oh, and my dear "sister" in the other lab whom everyone says i look like.so i'll miss them alot alot alot. :( guess i'll just drop by more often and meet them for lunch or something.
Really thank God for the chance to do this experiment. Though i kind of miss it,but i guess there's a time for everything and now is the time to do other stuff. Meanwhile, i shall slack! and bum around for while. HEE :) I'll keep them in my prayers. :)

busy.
Just had a very busy weekend and went to work half dead today. On saturday we had the usual cdg , then the alphacamp meeting , followed by a shopping spree in town with xinyi, meng and jing. I;m such a spendthrift la, but i loove my new wallet :):) hehe it's white! :)
Yesterday i went to church in the morning, then chiong all the way to sentosa to meet my touch friends and then went national stadium for global day of prayer and finally go airport tofetch my parents. Tiring. Sentosa seemsto be quite different from the last time i went there. haha. there's this "new" luge ride thats quite fun! :):) haha. and the kids there are so cute. hehe.Oh but jj and mel dropped their flip flops on the way up on the chaiflift so we were searching the hill for them and the ple on the chairlift kept a lookout for it.haha. such kind souls ! :)
GDOP was good! I love worshiping in a big crowd! and because it was in open air, it feels like the praises we sang rose to the heavens , to God. :) haha. though i know He is everywhere but there's just this thing abt God seated in the throne high up in the heavens. haha. It was really ni
ce!And the entire church, evangelistical and charismatic, came together as one! haha. it should be that way! i feel that each of us just have differest ways of worshipping and that we complement each other :) haha and i met my grandma there! yay! it quite funny tt i;m the one who comes frma traditional church and my grandma is the one who comes from charismatic church. Haa
Today we had a new student coming into the lab! :) She's quite a nice person . oh and we had this sampl which went missing. sigh. and work ended late today, ws in the lab for more than 12 hrs! haha. tired. and tomorrow i'll have to do 14 maxipreps! the thought of it is scary. I;m gonna have morning exercise tml by shaking th tubes!

Today i did maxiprep again! :) I think if i do maxiprep everyday i will lose weight from shaking all the bottles and stuff, it's so tiring! haha. It's my exercise for the day :) I;ve been wanting to exercise but i kept giving myself excuses. :P I shall go run or swim soon! :)
Anyway, today i went out with cheryl for dinner after work. By the time we walked to holland Village from biopolis it was already 9 pm! And we had dinner at subway. meatball marinara! it's nice :) But the lady put so mush onions that my toungue became numb and the onion taste stayed in my mouth, and i had onion breathe..eeee. we were so late that the whole place only had the both of us, hehe and when we went home, the street outside looked like a ghost town. there was NOBODY. :( it's the first time i see holland v so dead. haha.
when i reached home, bro was asleep already. Then, i suddenly realised something! I forgot to water the plants! oops. since my parents are out and we didnt water the plants,those poor things had 2 days of drought. oops again. now it looks kinda limpy. hehe. Oh and i woke my bro up when i was making noise while searching for stuff. hehe. so sorry! hehe.I;m so proud of myself! i did laundry and cleaned the floor! :):):) yay! but it's kinda odd to do thosethings at this hour. hehe. I have no choice! coz it's quite impossible for me to forgo sleep and wake up early to do household chores.Anyway, i'm quite amazed at the amount of laundry we can accumulate over 2 days.haha. Speaking of sleep, guess i should go visit snoozeland soon . haha. nites!

Help!To appeal or not, that is the question...but what is the answer?
SIGH! i just realised someting really bad. :( I thought i will still be able to choose to accept or decline the offer if i successfully appeal into medicine. BUT i can't! meaning, it's not a win-win situation anymore, there is NO choice. If i get offered medicine, the offer for pharmacy will be withdrawned!Sigh. But it's highly unlikely that an appeal would be successful anyway.should I appeal? I don't know what i want! :(It's funny to be in such a dilema coz all along i thought i really really really wanted medicine! But it seems like there are lots more to consider rather than the plain simple thought of wanting to be a pediatrician. I am officially lost.Guess i don't have that much passion for medicine. Maybe i should just stay happy with pharmacy, but what if i regret? How? I need to hear His voice, I need to hear from Him!:) people, please pray for me:( thank you! :)
