ice cream overload!!!

Today was really an ice cream day. but's it's a little too much. haha. never thought i would get sick of ice cream but i think today i did. The sugar content was enuff to make me diabetic or something.

It started with the kit kat chunky i shared with my brother yesterday night after the minister's talk and the chocolate milk and walnut roll i had. and today, i had mudpie at island creamery with gracia and vivan while we met up for our publicity meeting.The mudpie there is really good.it's chocolatey and nice :) all that walk from coronation plaza to serene centre for the slice of chocolate goodness was worth it. :) The meeting was quite ok but somehow i feel that we will have more things to do after committee meeting on saturday. Everytime we have publicity subcom meeting, i'll get the feeling that we don't really have that much things to do but after the committee's meeting i'll feel like there's loads of things to settle. ahhaha

Then i met may and ben at plaza Singapura for the ICE CREAM (again) treat which i promised them for helping out at ministry fair. and the chocoholic part of me just decided that i should gorge myself woth chocolates today and go on cocoa high.so i ordered my waffle with CHOCOLATE overload icecream , topped with CHOCOLATE sauce. though i like chocolates, but this is way too much, considering i had my mudpie less than 3 hours ago. having the waffle and the mudpie on separate days would have been a good idea.hah.

Hmm.. i always thought that junk food is only detrimental to the weight and it's effects only show up on the weighing scale, but apparently bit does make me feel sick. Like how my digestive system decided to go on strike today and not work for me and my head decided to ache the whole day. haa. Guess i should stay clear of ice cream and chocolates for awhile and feed myself with something healthy. hah.apples anyone? :)

hellos!

WOOOO!!! today's service was like a mega party or something. Celebration sunday was really a huge celebration!!!!n:):):) it was so fun! hahahahahaha. We had whistles and the colourful stick thingeys which makes lots of loud noises,huge balloons and hundreds or maybe more than a thousand colourful balloons thrown down at the end of the service. It was raining balloons!!! hahaha so super fun!!! And the whole congregation was so lively! i have to admit, the adults are ten times more lively than us youngsters at lishi service, shame on us!and we did actions for the hokkien songs. and yes! we sang 2 HOKKIEN songs. 1 medley and 1 other song.haha.it's auite funny becauseinitially, us vocalists dont know how to speak a single word of hokkien at all We're a hokkien church afterall. :) the whole service was jus super nice lar! and it's like the whole chinese side really came together to just worship God.it's a great feeling. People of all ages, young and old, coming before Him to worship Him.I wonder what God's reaction like, seeing us doing all these. haha. hmm... next time we should have one that's combined with the english side too. i miss combined services. And after that we had lunch together. THere was such alot of food!! :) yum! haha

Oh and after service and lunch, we went swensens at bpp to have icecream together. An all nuns outing. haha. but juan couldnt join us :( and peiling too. hmm. and we just sat together and talk. haha. it's been a long time since we did that. and now the J2s are all quite busy with their prelims and stuff, its really quite rare to have this kinda icecream sessions :) nevermind, we'll have more of these after their As! yay! jiayou J2s!!! haha it'll be over soon! it's sherlyn's birthday today!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHER!!! :)

haha i havent printed my notes yet but it'stime to go for dinner alr. heh.oops. IT's my bro's treat! :) oh man, it's another eat-and-grow-fat day. :S but nvm, i like it..HAHAHHAHAH

i realised my entries are all flooded with 'haha's and it sounds really weird so i'll use less 'haha's next time then. and i wanna change blogskin!!! the current one has such tiny fonts that it really difficult to read on my laptop screen. it didnt look as bad on the desktop tho. haha. shall search for one soon...but i'm lazy to search.

haha. somehow i keep thinking today's a saturday. haha. coz there's no school. hahah
yay! so happy. today i went yum cha with my bro and mum in chinatown in the morning. hehe. but unfortunately we didnt go there in time to catch the buffet slot. hehe.

for those interested in yum cha-ing , there's this yun cha restaurant in chinatown, at the junction between smith's street and trengganu's street which has buffet breakfast every weekday from 8 to 11.30am from $9.80. ahha the foods quite good :) haha

and us greedy people went changing appitite to have milkshakes and cheesecakes...hehe they're good! :)

And after that, we went funan IT mall to get some stuff for my lappie. haha. and i got her a nice black jacket.hhaha now she'll feel more protected. haha.

and we went shopping awhile and went for dinner at holland V :) haha

hello! :):):)

yay! so hapy..i got my laptop!!! like finally :)
haha actually i got it yesterday. haha and i stayed up till 5 to install stuff and upload stuff after i came home at night. yay yay yay. and i love my wall paper :) it's so cute.haha i like anne geddis haha. she rocks! haha. tink i'm mad to stay up till 5 to trandfer stuff, haha. but at least there's no school today! :) but unfortunately i didnt get to sleep in neither. ahah

I had an eight-hour lecture day yeaterday again. haha it wasnt so bad, but i didnt really concentrate during the anatomy lect and the last lect so ... oops... hehe. yesterday was quite crazy. i bought a anatomy and physiology textbook( which is quite heavy) and went to collect my lappie at the CO-OP as well. so i was lugging these 2 bulky heavy things around in a huge bag. it's quite terrible. haha but my bro decided to be really nice and drive my stuff home. :):) YAY!!! thank you :) haha and isnt it funny why all the authors of anatomy books and other textbooks tend to have martin or martini in their name? so if you want your kid to be a bio expert, try naming him or her martin, or martini, or maybe martina? haha OH and i bought a nice dirty green adidas jacket. yay! i'm happy. haha

oh and yday physiology was the first lecture...again. ahha. and having it early in the morning meant that everyone there were all quite zombie-like. haha with ultra low energy level. haha and there was this interesting convo between the lecturer and the audience. haha

lecturer: do you understand?
us: *silence*
lecturer: some response will be nice?
us: *silence*
lecturer: good morning class?
us: *groans*yes..
lecturer: i like the energy...

hahahahah and for the rest of the lecture, for all the questions that the lecturer asked, we were prompted to answer by a *GOOD MORNING CLASS?*hahaha

and i was basically lost in the sea of systematic names and common name of the chemicals during physiochemical principal of drug action lecture. receiving full impact of the numerous waves of the "tsunami" as how the lecturer put it. the lecture felt as though we were being hit by waves and waves of tsunami. bewilderment fills the LT. haha.( don't think i make sense. haha)

hello hello hello! haha

I went recording at a studio today!! with fio! :) haha so fun so fun!! haha :):):)
It's a recording for the song kan4 jian4 fu4 xing1 for my church's 40 dop ! and a group of us are sing for tt recording and we're taking turns to record. haha. and i sang with fio fio! :) it was super cool! :):):)

there was the mic with that round translucent disc which blocks air movement around the mic to prevent the breathing sounds to be picked up by the mic. haha and we wore humongous headphones!!! ahah it was jus so super fun lar..haha and we took photos using our camp since we all didnt bring camera :( haha

Oh and we jus kept laughing and laughing because it feels weird to hear your own voice comign out of the headphone...haha. and jianfan was really patient and beared with all our nonsense. haha and giggles. ahha THANK YOU :)

YAY YAY YAY! SO HAPPY !!! haha it was really fun :) haha

my first day of school.

first day of school went well :) haha
my lessons started at 8 am so i had to leave house before 7 to get there on time. haha. Alarm clock went off at 6.15 but i snoozed for half and hour and finally dragged myself out of bed at 6.45am..haha oops...and left house at 7.10am. ahah as u can see, i was behind time so i was a lil late for school...like 5 mins or so. haha but alot of people were late too...haha so i guess i wasnt tt bad. hehe hehe heehee

first lect was physiology. haha. not too bad, and it's kinda overlapping with A level bio so it's not really somethign new. haha but the LT was quite cold tho. haha maybe coz i sat under the aircon vent and so got the full blast if the aircon. haha. i shd bring my thick pullover next time.haha but nothign can be as bad as lt 21 lor! it's a humongous freezer! and after an hour in tt particular LT, you'll really need to go outside and thaw yourself. haha.

Next was Anatomy. haha. it's also kinda similar to what we lesrnt in JC so it's quite ok. haha. actually it's almost the same lar...haha. but this lect is directly before lunch so we were'nt really paying full attention to the lecturer...haha oops... but the lecturer was quite entertaining. haha. he speaks like Away. haha (Away is one my jc lecturers haha. it's a nic we gave him haha) coz of his cute accent. haha.

OOH then i had lunch with ziyan, sok and wt. :) at the science canteen. haha the food there's not bad lar...haha but less variety tho and the queue was super long...haha... oh and we saw wenting's darhking there! haha. aww.. he ate alone. haha. aww we could have given wt back to him...hahahahahahahahah..oh and we saw ronglin too. haah and agreed to be her guinea pigs for her dentistry assesment kinda thing. haha. oh and we saw Mr Chiam! haha

ooh then we had physical pharmacy lecture. haha this was the really bad one! haha. i could hardly stay awake lar... ahha. my eyes were open but i was really not concentratign and the lecturer's voice jus sounded like lullaby...haha. haha but some coffee saved the day... ahah. yay! :) maybe i shd drink coffee every mon afternoon. haha

then it was the last lecture!!!! yay! principles of drug or sth liddat. haha hmm.. it was then i realised that i forgot most of my organic camp. :S oh no!! this is bad...haha. mr teo!!! we need tuition...haha i shd really go re read my jc notes b4 i read the lect notes...haha

ooh then i went for yyxz! haah tt basically concludes my day!8 hours of lecture and church after that. haha. haha and there's no school tmr!!! since it's practical and we dun have practs yet.. MWHAHAHHAHA...yea...i love uni...haha...coz tml no school.haha but sadly i usually dun have free day. haha

hello!
wow...havent blogged for such a long time.. so many things to say and yet nothing to say at all. haha. my blog's been quite dead recently and i realised istart all the entrys with:it's been a long time since i last blogged... haha

anyway, Today was the last day for 40 days of purpose and i cant believe it's gone so fast. haha.but it's a good experience ! :) but sadly i was too busy serving that i think i lost my focus for awhile. :( like there are times where we let ourselves be occupied with the stuff in life that we get so busy and lose our focus--God. And i feel that sometimes in church, even though we are busy with church stuff, we can still lose focus . in a way, we tend to forget who we are serving and why we are serving when we concentrate on just to complete the task well. And i realised i let myself get so busy that i cant really give it all out. Guess i need to learn to be selective in serving. Well , though i realised i didnt really have time to ponder about the issues during the 40 days, but i learnt sth about serving Him. It's all about God, not what I are doing. :) and i wanna thank God for that. haha

Oh and i had to bid for an extra module on top of the core modules for this semester. Initially, i thought i'd need to bid on the friday before ministry fair during round 1c and i got quite worried about bidding because: firstly, i had no idea of what to bid for at all. and secondly, i wouldnt have excess to the comp since i'll be in church unless i wanna use the comp in their office la.(they'd be more than willing to lend me the comp but still it'd be quite disruptive to their work if the paranoid me wants to check the bidding again and again.. ahha) So, on thurs night i went online, feeling tired and almost half dead, trying to comb trough the possible modules to find sth to bid for. then i realised that i can bid during round 2a!!! haha yay! tt solved all the problems. coz round 2a will only start on mon :) yay! It's really amazing how the things i have can fit in so nicely even though that week was quite hectic. hahaha so happy! God;s plans are the best :)

another thing about dop. I was really really happy to see people working together for the dop. It really feels like a big family and it's really a great experience when people just cast aside all other stuff they have and come together to serve God.It's a really warm feeling. :) :) :) :) haha how we all came to set up our booths on the day before ministry fair; and people from different service , different ages , working together;coming down on weekdays to prepare for the fair;painting in xibin laoshi's office;how may's friend from ky came to help and how ready our church ple were to serve.

Now, afew things to give thanks for:
1.Thank God for Guiding and leading me through the 40 days, though i didnt really spent enough time with Him and to seek Him
2.Thank God for the peace i have despite the busy schedule.
3. thank God for the chance to serve, and to work with the brothers and sisters in christ through this 40 dop campaign. It really drew us alot closer.
4.Thank God for the ministry fair, for the over 200 people who signed up to serve.:)
5. Thank God for the people who helped in banner pinting and "house"building for the ministry fair.
6. Thank God for the bidding of my uni module.(yay! i found a cheap and not so bad module to bid for! :) )
7. Thank God for Loving me so dearly to die on the cross for me. :)

( believe it or not, He was NAILED on the cross and died for US--YOU and ME.even though we don't deserve it at all. that is how much God loves us !!! :) )

and many many more stuff to give thanks... haha

Tomorrow's my first day of school! having mixed feeling now. haha abit excited yet nervous. haha. and a little lazy to ake up at 6 in the morning. haha. oh and thank god for the prople i got to know in pharm. haha :) nites
