hello!!!i'm back!! after a week of frantic christmas shopping...hahaha
christmas shopping is crazy... been out everyday last week to get stuff for ple... :S it's crazy but yet so fun!! haha and i love wrapping presents...make it nice so that the persons receiving it will be happy..haha but not that my wrapping skills are superb.. they jus look simple.. ahaha it's the simple kinda wrapping so dun expect too much..haha oh oh... when i went christmas shopping one day i chanced upon sth v interesting... from a vending machine!!!:):) tada~!!!
betcha think it's jus a normal can from a normal vending machine right? you can say that i'm sua ku or i'm slow... but i really found it very facinating!! coz... firstly, look at the can carefully!! it's SCREWCAP!! hahaha :) annd secondly, it came out HOT!! and thirdly, it tastes really nice :) not to mention the can looks really pretty...hahahah oh man... i nv expect this kinda thing from a singapore vending machine!!! it's at ps btw... at the vending machine at the carpark..haha
okeis... the next thing i wanna show is sth william made for everyone!!! haha so nice of him...haha he made cookies in the shape of our names!!! :) enwei and i were saying we wont bear to eat it...haha coz it's so nicely made...=]thanks william!!:D and this is mine!:) shim yt
hahaha nice right? yay!!! i ate the yt today... ahha will keep the shim for later... so funny...sounds like i;m eating myself..hahaha munch munch munch!!!

18 dec: caroling at tong building for christmas at orchard! :) it's was kinda raining but thank God that there were still ple who stopped by to watch for awhile!! :) and 许牧师 was so enthu and danced in the rain with yongcai, zhiwei and william... (ahha hope i got the ple right)...ahha... and thank God that we still got to sing in the end!! :) showers of blessings!!

23 dec: carolling at zone 1! :) and "shopping" at bpp
24 dec: family dinner at uncle sam's place!! :) It's so fun la... it's a big family gathering... i've always liked them... :) tink it's not quite common for other families nowadays alr.. so i'm thakful that everyone still makes a point to gather!!! :) Love them!! :)
later on i had to run...to join the carolling... felt so bad to leave the gathering early... barely stayed for less than 3 hrs only :S sorry!!!
25 dec: Family dinner again!! this time it's jus my immediate family... and celest( my bro's gf)... and ,mummy cooked turkey and there was ham and salad and sashimi... and later on... swensen's ice cream log cake!!! haha wow... tis the season to eat and grow fat man...hahah
later on we started opening presents...haha it's so fun and we took pictures with the red santa hat...hahah and here's me in the hat holding one of the presents..hahaha
it's funny to be dressed in tshirt and shorts during a christmas celebration... but it's like that when u;re at home... hhaha jus lazy to dress up... :P
oh oh... and i got another really cute present form these 2 really nice gor gor and jie jie...hahaha (erm i dunno if they mind if i mention their names..so i'll jus let them be anonymous then...ahha) hahaha a dale( as in chip and dale, the chipmunks freom disney) speaker!!! haha it's sooo super cute!!! hahaha thank you thank you!:) this is it!! the feet are speakers...ahhah so cute !!!
and basically i spent the whole of today at home packing my stuff and my closet..heheh and stuffing myself with loads of chocs...hehehe pigging out! hahaha

and it struck me that our heavenly father is the one who created everything, He's the God of all the earth, but yet He is willing to listen to every single one of our worries and requests, and He cares about out hurts and pains..and knowing all out sins, He still chose to love us.

Updates from alphacamp!!! 112 campers and 15 new friends!! :):) really thank God for bringing us all together to work for Him.. and i wanna thank all the ple who helped with all the pub stuff :) it's really fun working together.. we are indeed a big family in Him and it's jus a diff kinda feeling. :) it's really great seeing everyone serving together!! :)
i miss my group too.. FROZEN FLAME!! haha the group with the highest morale...hahahhaha you guys rock!! see you guys around!!! :) i miss alphacamp..

My first semester in uni--the post exam mortem
my first sem is officially over!! had my last exam of the semester yesterday!wow.. time passes really fast! it seems like i jus started school not long ago and now i'm done with my first sem already! haha
Hmm... my first sem... all i can say is that it's been a busy period but generally it's still quite manageable... but we'll have to see the results too.haha I did 5 modules in total..natural heritage of singapore( a singapore studies module), anatomy, physiologyI,physiochemical principles of drug action and physical pharmacy. I like anatomy and physiology but t latter 2 modules are not so fun.. hehe.. it's the 2 of shim's most feared modules:S coz most of the ime, lectures were like tsunamis and i'm usually drowning. Anatomy is fun becoz of the practical and stuff and physio is interesting :) yay! i'll miss anatomy alot.( not so much of memorising tho)
now about the exam..i realised i've mastered the art of moving on. haha or maybe it's jus forcing myself to forget. ahah. After each exam, as i step out of the exam hall, my memory of the exam will be 'zapped' out of my mind.. such that i cant really remember what happened. maybe caoz i dont want to remember.haha.Think i subconciously made myself forget about it so i wont enter the state of groaning and grumbling about what i did, what i did not do or what i did wrongly. maybe it's good in a way that i wont keep thinking about it, but it's not good coz i will never noe what went wrong. oops. hehe. but at least i wont spent the entire day lamenting over the paper. haha. anw grades will be out somtime in late dec i tink. :S thank God for guiding me through the entire exam period..mugging for it and the exam itself. it was still a pleasant experience. He strengthens me when i'm tired and i have His peace in me :) also thank you all or keeping me in your prayers and the well wishes and msges u guys sent... so sweet of all of u!! really appreciate it :)THANK YOU:)

it's SEVEN more days to alphacamp!!!!
I'm so excited for alphacamp!!! months of preparations and now it's coming... Thank God for guiding and leading us tru the past months.. tho we've been busy and there seems to be tonnes of things to do, neverending tasks...but He is faithful and hasbeen guiding us and leading us along all this while and He will continue to guide and lead us because He is our good shepherd. :)
Give thanks for the people He prepared for the camp!! we have 100 campers!! praise the Lord!! He is an awesome God :) thank you thank you thank you:)
